In a video that has since gone viral from Saturday evening, police are seen kneeing and tasing a teenager for vaping.

Police say a group of teens was vaping outside of a non-designated area which is against boardwalk policy. The group left however one suspect began to vape again.

The police then asked for identification which the suspect did not oblige with. Then police are seen tasing then eventually kneeing the subject.

In a report by WTRF they said “During this encounter, a large crowd of people began to form around police as they attempted to arrest Brian Everett Anderson, 19, for failure to provide necessary identification for the violation of the local ordinance.
Police say Anderson began to resist arrest and was charged with disorderly conduct, resist/interfere with arrest, assault second degree, and failure to provide proof of identity.”

While the subject was seen talking back, many wondered was the force used excessive.
