The accolades continue for The Weeknd. The Canadian-born singer is set to receive the Quincy Jones Humanitarian Honor at the first Black Music in Action Awards.
The Weeknd will receive his honor on September 23 and will honor musicians, music businesses that advocate social justice, and music executives.
Since last year, THe Weeknd has donated several million to causes like the Black Lives Matter Global Network, National Bail Out, Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Legal Defense Fund, COVID relief, and more.
