Maxi Priest, Teddyson John Deliver Reggae Cover Of Bruno Mars’ ‘Leave The Door Open’

So just when you thought Silk Sonic’s “Leave The Door Open” couldn’t get any better, there is now a reggae version thanks to Maxi Priest and well-known Soca artist Teddyson John.

The Reggae cover is a first for John who was very honored to be selected for the project. “I thought the Reggae version was a great idea because this track is the biggest love song in the world right now, No. 1 on Billboard, and it’s good to share our Caribbean version of that expression,” said John.

Priest, who is known for his hits, “Close To You,” and “Wild World,” brings his smooth vocals to number one love song, turning it into a Caribbean fusion that is just as good as the original.

What do you think of the Reggae version of “Leave The Door Open?” Is it better or just as good as Silk Sonic’s version?
