Covid test kits and medical grade face masks are coming to Prince George’s County public school students.
The school system says it will hand out the home kits and KN-95 masks to students as they return to in-class instruction January 18th. Prince George’s schools CEO Monica Goldston says the school system will test students and staff each week.
The school system will also increase the number of students selected to participate in random testing sample pools per week.
Goldson asks that families sign the permission slip that allows their child to take part in the testing program.
Also, due to possible spread of Covid, fans will not be allowed at county public schools sporting events in January.

Prince Gorge’s County school officials say in an attempt to slow the spread of Covid, it will hand out free Covid take-home test kits and masks.
