According to Washington Post, “Public rooms are dedicated to unifying forces: honoring and remembering deceased loved ones, words and stories, kindness and gratitude, food and traditions, nature and recreation, songs and sounds, unity and hope, faith and light, and children.”
First lady Jill Biden is sharing the theme for the seasonal White House holiday decorations. A release from the East Wing says the theme will be, “We the People.”
The Bidens also released a statement saying, “As our country gathers for the holidays, traditions may vary, but our shared American values – a belief in possibility, optimism, and unity – endure season after season.” Jill Biden will officially unveil the holiday decorations and make remarks today, as more than 150 volunteers descended on the White House to decorate the public rooms.
We all remember the last four years, of either the blood-red trees or “Be Best” themes that decorated the halls of the “White House”. Seems to us that Jill is making herself at home with the themes that would will be pleasant to the eyes.
