Chris Rock is gearing up for his new Netflix special, where he will reportedly address Will Smith’s slap.

According to sources, Chris Rock plans to use a joke about Will’s Emancipation movie to respond to the A-lister.

Rock said during his Baltimore stop, “The other day, I watched Emancipation just so I could watch him getting whipped.”

He continued, “The thing people wanna know … did it hurt? Hell yeah, it hurt. He played Muhammad Ali! I played Pookie. Even in animated movies, I’m a zebra, he’s a f**king shark.”

A number of comedians have taken light of the infamous situation for laughter during their shows. Addressing the timeline of events and the reactions of Chris Rock, Will Smith, and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Chris Rock’s new special called Selective Outrage will be out on Netflix on Saturday.

Since the slap, Will Smith has apologized to the public for his actions, but some would argue that they’ve canceled him.
