Girls and the Challenges of Social Media

Straight from the headlines, 42 Attorneys General are suing META, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram. They claim the social media platforms are contributing to a mental health crisis for young people. Earlier this month Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks and County State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy heard from young people about the impact of social media. We take a deeper dive, focusing on what effect social media has on our girls and how you can protect them.
