Mansey Pullen, began his broadcast career at WHUR in 1981. A graduate of Howard University’s School of Communications, Mansey interned for the first Quiet Storm host, Melvin Lindsey. Mansey then spent a number of years hosting The Original Quiet Storm. During those years he enjoyed interviewing artist from Barry White to Smokey Robinson. Mansey was born in Burgaw, North Carolina. Presently, Mansey hosts The Weekend Quiet Storm heard Sunday nights on the Adult Mix, 96.3 WHUR.
