(Annapolis, MD) — The number of vaping-related illnesses continues to increase in Maryland. The Health Department is now investigating six more cases of severe lung illnesses bringing the total number of 29. Last week Maryland’s Health Secretary issued an order requiring all doctors, health care providers and local health departments to report severe lung illnesses to the state. Thousands of cases have been reported nationwide and at least 20 people have died.
