President Frederick’s guest is Dr. Ivory Toldson, Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at Howard University. As a Senior Research Analyst for the Congressional Black Caucus, Toldson led two groundbreaking studies which explored the educational journeys of African-American males and analyzed the so called “school-to-prison pipeline.” This episode of The Journey explores the path toward academic success. Dr. Toldson currently serves as the Deputy Director for the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges & Universities.
