Kerry Washington To Direct An Episode of ‘Insecure’

Kerry Washington will direct an episode for the new season of Insecure. Washington shared the news with a funny video of her freestyling in the mirror like the main character of the show, Issa is known for.

According to Shadow and Act, Washington will direct the ninth episode of the season which will debut in 2020.

Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes, who encouraged the actress to direct an episode, cosigned the news on Twitter.

Washington is currently in American Son  Good Times on Netflix and will be producing the upcomingremake on ABC.
