Lil Nas X Says He’s Not Afraid of Offending Straight Fans

Lil Nas X says he’s not afraid to offend his straight fans anymore. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Nas says, “if they feel offended, they were never really here for me. They were here for whatever version of myself they made up in their head.”

Nas also talked about his love of the “clapback,” saying he won’t “start shooting at somebody who didn’t bring it to my doorstep…but if somebody throws one at me, I’m throwing an entire house.”

Fans and non-fans will need to get ready to possibly be offended again when the “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” rapper heads to Saturday Night Live for a live performance.

Are you afraid of offending people or are you like Lil Nas X, who thinks the bigger the artists the bigger the controversy they bring?
