Remember MoviePass, the subscription service that allowed moviegoers to check one film a day for $9.99 a month, well it could be coming back.
The service launched in 2017 but in 2020 the company that owned MoviePass filed for bankruptcy after filing for bankruptcy when they ran out of cash.
Now that you know all of that, let’s move to Tuesday when all of a sudden a MoviePass website with a countdown clock that’s set to end on Monday, March 22 hit the web with a tagline that said, “the movie is about to start.”
Reps for MoviePass were asked about the website and tagline but haven’t responded about what was seen.
