Prosecutors in the Jussie Smollett trial say the actor did a ‘dry run’ of his alleged attack days beforehand.
Smollett is accused of hiring two brothers, Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo, to stage a hate crime attack. But prosecutors say surveillance video shows Smollett and the Osundairos going over the plan several days earlier.
The prosecution will also use surveillance and doorbell cam footage to track the Osundairo brothers’ movements the night of the alleged attack.
Smollett’s attorneys say there is no physical evidence that he planned the attack.
