‘Slow Motion’ singer Trey Songz has been cleared in sexual assault investigation in Las Vegas.

On Friday, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department confirmed that the signer is in the clear over an alleged incident that took place in November, as reported by People.

According to TMZ, Songz celebrated his 37th birthday at Drai’s Nightclub and allegations were made against the singer after his entourage brought a group of women back to a hotel from the club, and that’s where things allegedly took a turn.

“The LVMPD has conducted the investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Tremaine Neverson and determined that no criminal charges will be filed,” the rep tells People. “If any new evidence comes to light, the case will be reopened for further investigation.”

As reported by The Root, shortly after being cleared, Songz’s lawyers spoke out, telling TMZ: “We are pleased that Trey Songz’ has been cleared of wrongdoing and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department investigation has officially been closed. We are grateful to the LVMPD for the professional police work done and their thorough investigation, which included findings of inconsistency in witness testimony and insufficient evidence. We are pleased that Trey can now return to what he does best, entertaining.”
