King Endowed Chair in Public Policy Lecture Series continues with the latest installment of its virtual series under the direction of veteran political strategist and author Donna Brazile as the Gwendolyn S. and Colbert I. King Endowed Chair in Public Policy. In the light on the COVID-19 pandemic, on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at 2 p.m., Brazile will host Coronavirus Update: A Conversation with Howard University Alum & U.S. Senator Kamala D. Harris, in coordination with WHUT-Howard University Television and WHUR 96.3 FM. Senator Harris is a lifelong public servant and fighter for the people. Elected in 2016, she is the second African American woman in history to be elected to the U.S. Senate, and the first African American and first woman to serve as Attorney General of the state of California.
