Margaret Nyamumbo is the CEO and Founder of Kahawa 1893.
Kahawa 1893 is the first Black woman-owned coffee brand for sale at Trader Joe’s.
Currently the brand is available in 200 Trader Joe stores in California with a rollout planned for more locations across the country.
The coffee blends include Kenyan, Peaberry, Serengeti, Ethiopian, Safari, 1893 Espresso, Decaf and single server coffee.
Margaret is a former Wall Street investment banker and Harvard graduate.
