Americans need more sleep. The American Sleep Association says adults need seven to nine hours of sleep at night, but roughly a third get less than seven hours. There are ways to combat insomnia though, as referenced in a new article. Limiting screen time before bed, keeping the TV off in your bedroom and not reading “thrillers” before sleep will all help.
