A Memo Out States Several DCPS Employees Have Engaged In Sexual Misconduct

Kihn would not specify the schools in which the cases occurred. That has many parents concerned.

The spotlight is back on DC Public Schools. This time it is the result of a memo released by the Deputy Mayor of Education Paul Kihn.

In a memo to ANC Commissioner Denise Krepp Kihn stated that the disposition of sexual harassment complaints reported to DCPS includes 18 unsubstantiated, 6 substantiated and 7 listed as other since January 2018. Two of the 6 employees investigated have been terminated. There are also 3 pending investigations.

Kihn would not specify the schools in which the cases occurred. That has many parents concerned. It is also being reported that the District is not revoking the licenses of these teachers or notifying the public about the investigations.
