Five Shot In Congress Heights

Two victims have life-threatening wounds.

(Washington, DC) — Two people were killed today following a shooting in Congress Heights. DC police say bullets started flying early this ternoon on Savannah Street near the Congress Heights Metro Station. DC Police Chief Robert Contee said five people were shot. A man and a woman are among the deceased.  Chief Contee say the shooting appears to the result of a dispute between two groups.  There’s no word on a potential suspect.
