Biden: Economy “Still In Trouble”

(Washington, DC) — President Biden says the U.S. economy is “still in trouble.” Biden opened a White House speech by mentioning the tepid monthly jobs report. The economy added 49-thousand jobs in January. The President says the coronavirus continues to wreak havoc across the U.S. He said there is “enormous pain in this country.” Biden said bold action is needed quickly. He said he would prefer to have bi-partisan cooperation but stressed congressional Democrats are ready to go it alone.
