Court filing shows he intends to plead guilty

(Minneapolis, MN) — Convicted former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin will be back in court for a change of plea hearing on Wednesday. It’s in the federal civil rights case against him. Chauvin has previously pleaded not guilty. He was found guilty in a criminal trial earlier this year of murdering George Floyd.  Court filing shows he intends to plead guilty.
