Cornell University Gang Rape Case

CORNELL UNIVERSITY

Cornell University’s handling of a 2024 alleged gang rape case continues to stir emotions on campus.  Yesterday student groups held a sit in. It was part of a campus wide economic blackout where students disrupted “business as usual” by not attending class or spending money on campus. This is a complicated and difficult issue to examine. There are complex legal issues, social issues, moral issues and so much more. We’re going to explore them all from different perspectives. Hopefully, we can address this topic unvarnished but with sensitivity. A warning however, there may be issues and descriptions that are triggering or difficult to hear.
