DC Boil Water Advisory Extended Until Tomorrow

Neighborhoods in Fort Lincoln, Woodridge and should continue boiling water today before drinking or cooking with it.

(Washington, DC) — A Boil Water Advisory in parts of D.C. is expected to end tomorrow. It was extended to finish testing after some customers lost water pressure Sunday. Officials say when that happens, it’s possible for bacteria to seep through cracks or joints in the distribution system. There’s no sign of contamination but neighborhoods in Fort Lincoln, Woodridge and Langdon should continue boiling water today before drinking or cooking with it.
