(Washington, DC) — An investigation is underway into who is responsible for slashing the tires on dozens of cars in one District neighborhood. Residents in Mount Pleasant say over the last couple of weeks dozens of cars in their community have been the target of vandals who have slashed vehicle tires. Investigators say more than two dozen vehicles have suffered damage along stretches of Kenyon and Harvard Streets. District Police say they continue to investigate the vandalism but say they have no strong leads in their probe. In 2015, the same neighborhood was targeted with dozens of car tires slashed. Police are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
