Bodies Found In DR Confirmed To Be Missing New York Couple
(Mount Vernon, NY) — Officials in the Dominican Republic are confirming they’ve found the bodies of a New York couple that went missing March 27th. Authorities believe Portia Ravenelle and her boyfriend Orlando Moore of Mount Vernon were involved in a car crash after checking out of their hotel on the island. Ravenelle initially survived the crash and was found unconscious on the side of the road without any identification. She died in a hospital on April 4th. Moore’s remains were found in the water, not far from where their rental car was found submerged.
