Fairfax County Parents Don’t Want Co-Ed Sex Ed

Most teachers and students surveyed aren’t on board either.

(Fairfax, VA) — An overwhelming majority of Fairfax County parents are not in favor of co-ed sex education classes. So says the Fairfax County Parents Association, which revealed over the weekend that 84-percent of parents who responded to a recent FCPS survey are rejecting the idea of gender-combined Family Life Education classes in grades four through eight. Most teachers and students surveyed aren’t on board either. The parent group also lashed out at FCPS for keeping the survey results under wraps and disregarding public input while continuing to pursue its plan to change the curriculum.
