(New York, NY) — It could be days before former President Trump appears in court if he’s arrested in New York City on Tuesday. Trump would only be taken into custody if he’s indicted by a Manhattan grand jury involving a hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. Trump may not even be handcuffed, but he will be read his Miranda rights and be booked before being arraigned. He would most likely be released on his own recognizance since the alleged crimes are non-violent. Trump has called on his supporters to protest while security measures have been heightened for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg who’s prosecuting the case.
