Brittney Griner is struggling in Russia. In a new interview, the WNBA star’s wife, Cherelle, says Griner is “terrified” as she awaits her trial. Griner has been detained in Russia on drug charges for over four months. Cherelle said, “She is a human. She’s there, terrified. She’s there alone. I mean, even in America, if she was going through a legal proceeding, she wouldn’t be doing it alone.” Griner is facing up to ten years if convicted.
