Metro Stations Reopen

Metro says this marks the completion of a four-year project to modernize 20 stations.

(Washington, DC)  —  Summer improvements are complete at a handful of Metro stations.  WMATA  reopened the Cheverly, Deanwood, Landover, New Carrollton, and Minnesota Avenue stations this morning.  Each of the Orange Line stations were closed for platform reconstruction and safety repairs.  Metro says this marks the completion of a four-year project to modernize 20 stations.
