Washington, D.C. (Wednesday, March 3, 2020) – Super Tuesday has claimed its first casualty. Billionaire Michael Bloomberg announced this morning he is bowing out of the race and has now endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden. Bloomberg suffered a stunning loss yesterday despite pumping more than a half billion dollars of his own fortune into his campaign.
Bloomberg announced his departure from the race this morning throwing his support to the now viewed front-runner Biden. Biden leads the race to the White House with delegates taking the first place from Bernie Sanders. Sanders has indicated he may be down, but not out. As for Elizabeth Warren, it is not clear where she will go from here. Her campaign has indicated she too is assessing her future.
