(Redmond, WA) — Microsoft is the latest tech company moving forward with massive layoffs as part of cost-cutting measures. Microsoft said it plans to lay off ten-thousand employees by the end of March. CEO Satya Nadella cited changing demands for digital services and recession fears among the reasons for the layoffs. Meta and Amazon both laid off at least ten-thousand employees in 2022. Cisco, Carvana and Twitter each laid off around four-thousand employees.
