Washington, D.C. (September 1, 2021) – D.C. police continue to search for suspects in the shooting Tuesday night of a mother and her two-year-old son. Police say the pair was shot along with another man while sitting in a car on Howard Road in SE.
All three victims are expected to survive their injuries. Police have not indicated a motive or if the victims were the intended targets or struck by stray bullets.
