(Largo, MD) — The search is on for the hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Largo early this morning. PG County police responded to westbound Central Avenue near the Beltway shortly before 3:30 and found 27-year-old Ayanna Myrick of Upper Marlboro, dead in the roadway. The subsequent investigation kept the westbound lanes on Route 214 closed until almost 7:00.
