All is clear for Wes Moore as the Democratic nominee for governor in Maryland. Over the weekend, Moore’s closest challenger for the nomination, Tom Perez, conceded the primary contest to Moore. If elected in November, Moore would be Maryland’s first African American governor. Meantime, the current governor, Republican Larry Hogan, says he will not support his party’s nominee, Dan Cox, who was endorsed by Donald Trump. Hogan says Cox has no chance of defeating Wes Moore.
