PGCPS Continues Distance Learning For Fall 2020 Harold Fisher July 15, 2020 at 12:38 pm in NEWS Tweet Prince George’s County Public Schools CEO, Dr. Monica Goldson has announced that distance learning will continue until at least January 2021. In a statement released this afternoon, Goldson said in part, “In light of the health disparities in communities that house more than 136,500 students and 20,000 employees, there is a significant public health concern if schools were to reopen this fall for in-person instruction.” The first day of school is scheduled for August 31st.
