WEEKEND HAPS UPDATE

 

  • It’s that time of the year, It’s Howard Homecoming, with a host of events which include the Homecoming Parade, The Homecoming Football Gameagainst Norfolk State. Also, The Alumni Jazz Brunch is Sunday at 12noon and hosted by our very own Allison Seymour & Marc Clarke.

 


  • Cedric the Entertainer comes to DAR Constitution Hall Saturday night.Show time is 7:30pm.

 

  • Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club presents Brian McKnight, tonight and tomorrow.   Doors open at 6pm.  Show time is 8pm.  On Sunday, enjoy the Sounds of Sunday with Art Sherrod Jr.  Ann Nesby and Tiffany Andrews.  Show time is 6pm.
  • The Legendary Whispers perform Sunday at The Birchmere. Show times are 7:30pm.

 

  • August Wilsons Pulitzer Prize Winning Play “Fences” is playing at the Ford’s Theatre and runs through October 27th. More information here:

 

  • The award winning production of “Jitney” is at Arena Stage and running through October 27th.  More information here:
