Three Carjackers In Custody After Targeting Detective

There have been more than 230 carjackings in Prince George’s County, up ten-percent year-over-year.

(Temple Hills, MD) — Three men are in custody after targeting the wrong person for a carjacking. The trio walked up to a vehicle on Curtis Drive in Temple Hills around 10:30 last night and tried to take it. Turns out though, that the man behind the wheel was a plain-clothes PG County police detective, who had no problem in corralling the suspects. Through the first half of this year, there have been more than 230 carjackings in Prince George’s County, up ten-percent year-over-year.
