Washington Commanders Fire Head Coach Ron Rivera

The Washington Commanders are firing head coach Ron Rivera. Rivera coached the team for four seasons and made the playoffs once. The Commanders finished the season with a record of four-and-13 and hold the second pick in the NFL Draft. Meanwhile, Washington is hiring former Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers and former Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman to assist in the search for a new head coach and new head of football operations. Myers helped the Warriors win four NBA titles in his time with the team and Speilman has been an NFL front office executive for 30 years.
