Ninety percent of Black dermatologists in the U.S.. were trained at Howard University.  Becoming a dermatologist requires a significant amount of education; all dermatologists receive training in the four branches of dermatology: medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, surgical dermatology, and dermatopathology.  At the forefront of diversifying this field is Howard University’s College of Medicine (HUCM).
