While we all paused to celebrate Howard University Alumna, Kamala Harris, becoming the first Black person and the first woman ever to become Vice President, we can not afford to forget the urgency of this moment.  President Biden and Vice President Harris now lead a country grappling with multiple crises, from the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic downturn and the aftermath of a violent insurrection of our nation’s Capitol.  With so much to do and so much at stake, this new administration has already gotten straight to work.
