In exchange for what most consider a “traditional” spring break, more than 1,000 Howard students will serve in communities of need. An honors student, junior political science and sociology double major and legal communications minor from Chino Hills, California is responsible for leading more than fifty student leaders and more than 1,000 participants who are also her peers.  This student is a servant leader who believes adjusting to change has a lasting impact on leadership development.  She has answered the call and will ensure the service continues at Howard.  On this episode of “The Journey,” Dr. Wayne Frederick chats with the Executive Student Director for Howard University’s 2020 Alternative Spring Break program, Sydney Montgomery.
