After the viral incident of ‘King Richard’ actor Will Smith slapping comedian Chris Rock for his joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair,  a curiosity surrounding alopecia, a hair loss condition, has peaked.

In a statement, Banks said she’s a fan of the contest’s approach of “fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances … it’s always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk.”

Banks’ mission, as stated on the official website, “is to bring modeling to the masses in ways beyond what I did with America’s Next Top Model. I want to redefine what a model and modeling means.” Banks began America’s Next Top Model, a modeling competition show, in 2003. 

Last month Rihanna shared a photo of a 7-year-old girl, named Ala’a Skyy, who happens to look a lot like the singer. Rihanna captioned the photo “Almost drop my phone. How?” The photo received over 7 million likes on Rihanna’s Instagram and brought Ala’a a ton of new followers.
