It’s been well documented that COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted the African American community. In Montgomery County, a movement is underway to help tackle the problem. The African American Health Program Executive Committee has launched what it calls “Targeted COVID-19 Response.” My guest is Beatrice Miller – Co-Chair of the African American Health Program Executive Committee The African American Health Program Executive Committee has launched “Target COVID-19 Response” program, which includes free testing for African-American residents and wraparound wellness services.
