The legendary icon Virginia Ali, the co-founder of Ben’s Chili Bowl, has been honored with her bobblehead figurine by the Washington Wizards.

The bobblehead was presented to her during her 90th birthday celebration at the Lincoln Theatre. The team also surprised her by donating $10,000 to the Ben’s Chili Bowl Foundation, which provides services to the neighborhood.

The Wizards’ “For the District” campaign will also feature bobbleheads of tennis star Hyattsville native Frances Tiafoe and hip-hop artist Virginia Beach native Pusha T later in the season.

Fans will have the opportunity to receive their own Virginia Ali bobblehead at the Wizards’ game against Detroit on Martin Luther King Jr. Day while supplies last.
