National Park Service Donates $9.7M to HBCUs

The National Park Service is giving a huge gift to HBCUs to the tune of $9.7 million in nine states.  Their donation will go to help preserve historic buildings at 19 institutions.  This isn’t anything new, the program has been going on since the 1990s and has already awarded more than $87 million in grants to over 85 HBCUs.  Accredited HBCUs are eligible for the program that will help the institutions with architectural plans, conduct historic structure plans, and help nominate a location for the National Register of Historic Places.   What is your favorite HBCU?
