(Baltimore, MD) — A teenage squeegee worker convicted in the death of a baseball bat-wielding man in Baltimore last year is headed to prison. A judge on Monday sentenced 16-year-old Tavon Scott to 15 years behind bars and five years of probation. The teen was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and gun charges stemming from the confrontation that left Timothy Reynolds dead near the Inner Harbor. Scott was 14 at the time of the killing and sentencing was handed down after a judge earlier on Monday rejected a defense request to transfer the case to juvenile court.
