The midterm elections are just three months away. They will determine whether we see a political shift on Capitol Hill. Two years from that, another presidential election. Beneath it all, we could see a groundswell of young candidates and civic activists. There are movements afoot to educate, motivate and invigorate a new generation of the electorate. This is particulary the case for young Black women. We talk to one of the leaders of an organization working to do just that.
