FamFest is a free, family-centered celebration produced by WHUT, the nation’s only PBS station licensed to a Historically Black College and University (HBCU), in partnership with WHUR during Howard University’s renowned Homecoming Weekend.  This year, WHUT is excited to welcome DC Department of Parks and Recreation as a MainStage partner, with hopes of expanding community reach and deepening impact.  My guest is Keisha Nelson – Director of Education and Outreach WHUT-TV

Created with children and families in mind, FamFest provides a vibrant space where learning, wellness, culture, and community come together through engaging activities, live entertainment, family resources, and educational experiences.  For more information go to: www.whut.org
