64-Million Paid In Speed Camera Fines In Maryland

Triple-A says drivers in Maryland paid nearly 64-million dollars in speed camera fines during the last fiscal year. Around one-point-six million tickets were issued in the 45 jurisdictions that operate speed camera programs in Maryland in fiscal year 2018. That’s a slight increase from the year before. Drivers in Montgomery County, Baltimore City, Prince George’s and Baltimore counties paid more than 38-million in fines. Drivers in Baltimore paid nine-point-six million in speed camera fines.
